Football Manager 27: Everything We Know About the Release

Football Manager 27 launches on November 10, 2026. The latest entry in the football management series from Sports Interactive and SEGA is coming to PC and Mac, to PlayStation 5 and Xbox as FM27 Console, and to mobile via Netflix as FM27 Mobile. Before that, you can jump into a free Launch Preview on PC and Mac.

What you need to know about Football Manager 27

As usual, Football Manager 27 puts you in charge of a football club of your choice. You build the squad, negotiate transfers, develop a tactic and lead your club to trophies season after season. The game is mainly designed for single-player, but there's also a multiplayer mode. According to Steam, the PC version offers full controller support, and there are optional in-game purchases.

New features: news feed, training and tactics

Sports Interactive is showing off the most important new features in several official videos. A new news feed brings together transfers, results and rumors from across the football world. Training has been reworked, tactics settings get minor tweaks, and the user interface is meant to be clearer. On top of that, there's a deeper game world in which cup draws are staged live.

Matchday: more atmosphere in the stadium

A big focus is on matchday itself. Packed stadiums, new pre-kickoff cutscenes and better lighting are meant to make matches feel more alive. Big European nights get their own walkout. In my view, this is exactly where the last few entries still had room for improvement.

Platforms and versions

On PC and Mac, Football Manager 27 launches via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Xbox app, and it's also included in PC Game Pass. FM27 Console is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox, and on Xbox it's in Game Pass too. You play FM27 Mobile on smartphone and tablet via Netflix. A Nintendo Switch version hasn't been clearly officially confirmed yet.

Release, price and system requirements

Football Manager 27 releases on November 10, 2026. From October 29 to November 3, 2026, you can try the game on PC and Mac in the free Launch Preview. Steam doesn't list an official euro price yet. Instant Gaming already sells the Steam key for less.
