Team Liquid win the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs: Apex title sealed in match nine

Team Liquid are the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs champions. On November 1, 2026, the trio of Zer0, Sikezz and Panic took the Apex Legends Global Series title at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, closing out the final in the ninth match and banking $600,000.

A final that went the distance

The final used the match point format: a team first has to reach 50 points, then win a game to take the title. This time it turned into a marathon. According to Team Liquid, the squad only sealed it in match nine, finishing ahead of Team Vision in second and Forged Wolves in third. Battle royale finals rarely get more tense than that.

In the final standings, Team Liquid ended the nine games on 91 points, with Team Vision on 80 and Forged Wolves on 76. Aurora and Alliance rounded out the top five.

Zer0 hits 100

It was a historic night for Rhys "Zer0" Perry as well. One of Liquid's game wins in the final was his 100th in the ALGS, making him the first player ever to reach that mark, per Team Liquid. The title is even more impressive given the roster only came together this year.

$600,000 and crucial Championship Points

The Split 2 Playoffs ran from October 29 to November 1 and featured 40 teams from the Americas, EMEA, APAC North and APAC South. The official ALGS site from Electronic Arts lists a total prize pool of $2,000,000, paid out to all 40 teams based on placement. Liquid's share is $600,000.

For many teams, the bigger stakes were elsewhere: Las Vegas was the final ALGS Year 6 event to award Championship Points, so these results decide who qualifies directly for the ALGS Championship and who has to go through the Last Chance Qualifier.
