History of Polygon Art
Polygon Art was founded in November 2013 by Daniel Wengenroth, who still runs the studio as CEO. It is based in Westerburg in Rhineland-Palatinate, not far from Koblenz. The studio became known for Beyond Enemy Lines, a tactical first-person shooter that received several follow-ups. Smaller games such as United Assault, Strike Force and Autobahn Racing were also released.

Team and technology
The core team is small: according to a report by version control provider Diversion, three full-time developers work at Polygon Art, supported by freelancers. The studio uses Unreal Engine 5 and its own toolkit, the Polygon Art Development Kit, which makes it faster to reuse recurring systems in new projects.

Games by Polygon Art
In recent years Polygon Art has shifted towards simulations. Forklift 2024: The Simulation was followed by Oil Refinery: The Simulation in 2025. On 19 February 2026 Park Ranger Simulator launched for PC and PlayStation 5 via publisher Aerosoft, a national park simulation that received a lot of criticism from players.
